if we read through past CVN history, i’m fairly certain you would be correct. However, the advent of 3D seismic provides a lot more detailed understanding of the strata, thickness of layers and traps. If your going to spend the big money drilling, then it makes sense to have the extra detail. Especially, to attempt to accurately intercept critical features. I’ m sure many HC will be after that information and it’s interpretation, prior to an April start.
