Acronym, I agree with you totally.

I'm no friend of the Democrats (Libs or Labs come to that). The issue is Evans misleading of parliament. If Oakes in all his saintly agonisings over doing the right thing was so keen to let the world know about this terrible wrong, why didn't he do it when it happened and when appropriate action could have been taken? Surely that was the time and not now when it can cause nothing but pain for all family and friends.

I was shocked that Evans lied to parliament. I felt that he was one of the more capable and honest of the labor team. Equally, I believe Oakes has behaved despicably.
