Hi Misty, I think the first thing to say about Kerry is that he IS a Labor supporter, no doubt. The second thing to say is that he is nobody's fool, he comes out from time to time to take Labor leaders to task, usually about not being leftist enough, but on this occasion I think it was inspired by frustration in the Labor Party, and amongst their supporters, about flip-flops and recent big stuff-ups. When Kerry goes ferral, people say that he's doing the bidding of the Right, far from it, he's actually reflecting the frustrations of the far left. Regarding tonight's 7-30 Report, I rather enjoyed watching Rudd's face turn ruddy, but I wouldn't have liked to be around, as a protected member of HC, when the air turned blue after the microphones were turned off.
