Interesting that there are those (including herself) who are claiming she is being persecuted.

She was given an Order of Australia medal in 2007 for "services to tennis", and has just been given an Order of Australia medal in 2021 for "services to tennis" despite her not playing tennis in the interim 13 years. It is absolutely clear that this year's award was not for her tennis. She's been given the award for her public defense of Paulian doctrine "because its in the Bible". This is the opposite of persecution.

If she wants to do so, fair enough.

But there are other parts of Paulian doctrine that she really should address and get behind too - like 1 Timothy 2: 11-12 - quote:

    • 11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission.
    • 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.

Come on Paster Maggie! "Its in the Bible!" Have at it!

I won't hold my breath. She, like all the other mouth-breathing Paulians are hypocrites.
