While very different of course only recently here we had a case of a Female security person reacting after a violent assault. While I think few would be confident in their own reactions if put in simular situation I doubt most with clear thinking would believe the best outcome was achieved.
In any case it’s for the Yanks to sort out. Personal I can’t see anything intellectually about playing that card unless he felt the need for some flag waving for the left of his Party which are already his anyway so what was the point? Pull some votes from the Greens maybe? Other than that it just appears dumb.
Politics is without doubt an interesting game to watch.
