Agree Grebmoolb, however they rejected Vale's offer which was closer to $20 because it was too low or was it because of capital gains tax.
So realistically BHP is and was the only suitor worth considering given preference for cash + scrip swap by the majority(board) shareholders, and the wheel keeps turning, cheers
