It does seem that Gillard's carbon tax is designed to take from those she sees as "rich" (even though they have families to support) and give the money to the poor by means of compensation.

In essence, it seems she is trying to level us all financially. It doesn't seem to matter if some work hard or have studied their way into a good career, they are at risk of being financially levelled with those who do not bother to study or work? Doesn't sound right to me.

Good to hear you are doing OK, Eagle. Seems that lefties measure success by what is happening NOW with little thought for the financial disasters we may be leaving the next generation or two.
