Why should removing Kevin Rudd, the failing leader of a Government that was in disarray, several months before an election wipe the slate clean? Julia Gillard was not an innocent bystander in the Government's incompetence.
As the Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard was also responsible so should also be held fully accountable by the electorate.
Note that Julia Gillard, obviously following campaign advice, has stopped using the words "Labor" and "trust" because Labor is on the nose, particularly in New South Wales and Queensland and because mentioning "trust" immediately reminds us of her betrayal of Kevin Rudd's trust.
