Think he definitely has the smarts, people who can explain themselves well usually do.
Comes across as politically savy, again that has to do with intellect - being aware of your environment.
But has he got a vision the greatest asset of a leader, don't know.
He needs a bit of the Keating in him.
BTW half way thru 'Paul Keating - Prime Minster' a very good read indeed.
