Come on Bevtor. Its a clear fallacy to attribute the China led economic boom to the Howard and Costello circus. They were just lucky and they squandered the opportunities that the boom created. What did THEY actually do to improve the economy and the way of life for all Australians. It would seem very little given the way they wre trounced by the electorate and even the Prime Minister was rejected in his own electorate. Must say something about Howards huybris and poor judgement to put himself in that position. People are saying Costellos book will be a whitewash but I have a feeling a few inconvenient truths are about to be divulged.
