    To use your analogy, it's as if you and miles had a conversation about the ways of the world and you leaked out the fact that he likes tomato juice.

    It's a bone but a little plastic one. Time for the LIbs to drop it and pick up a real one. Trouble is, their political views, alas, are not too dissimilar to those of the ALP. Rudd pushed them away from centre-right-right and now they've got nowhere to go; but they have to create a presence of some sort, so they bark.
    I also have the feeling that this tactic is more of a Bishop tactic than a Turnbull one. I think she's the winder of the fly-nut on Turnbull's back. The rest of the crowd has given up. Totally despondent and uninterested... probably putting their feet up till after xmas. Eventually, Turnbull, too will stop... turning up in the media.
