I saw a report (ABC) that said 44% approved the mining tax while 47% against.
I assume sample bias. If 44% approve then tax 44% haven't got a clue and at least 44% know they are working for nothing relying on govt handouts.
Not a good sign for Australia I am afraid.
Nor was a unprovoked Sudeanese king hitting an Australian in regional Aust in a territorial statement only to be thrown in the back of the paddy wagon.
