The recent capital raise announcement raises several intriguing points. If this were simply a case of Ratta exercising their option to purchase up to $5 million in stock, it would likely be categorized as a change in substantial holdings rather than a capital raise.

This suggests to me that external funding is involved.

The fact that Daws and Pereira departed for Indonesia early this morning strongly indicates that the funding may be denominated in Rupiah.

Additionally, Les accompanying Chris overseas implies more than just a routine roadshow, further supporting the idea that funding has been secured from Indonesia .

It would be unusual for Les to join Chris for a relatively small raise, say $1 million, which leads me to speculate that the funding could be more substantial.

Notably, the last two capital raises were conducted at a premium to the share price. If this trend continues, it would send a positive signal to investors.

For those questioning the timing of a capital raise which I find puzzling, Estrella’s share price is actually at a three-year high. A raise at 2.8 cents or above would be an excellent outcome, and if the price starts with a 3, it would be exceptional.

Friday will provide clarity, but if the raise is both significant and well-priced, it could mark a major positive development for the company!
