That's a rare useful post from you, thanks Techmeister!

Some of those examples are not relevant as they were not integral in founding and subsequently running the companies mentioned. Berkshire will tank if/when that duo (or just Buffett) chucks it in or falls off the perch.

In successful perpetual companies there is often an easily identifiable number 2 man or woman who can step in at any time and keep on task. My thinking is that I can't identify that person and neither can you it would seem. It's another risk that exists with this company, and sideshow or not it's there.

Thinking about all the risks bears well for a successful investment. There are others here too.
