Cairn have calculated the NPV of the 2C recoverable oil @$US10 pb @ $US70 pb oil @ FID based upon their estimate of the oil flow rates in the development plan and the capital expenditure profile in the development plan. The NPV takes account of financing of the future capital expenditures and future revenue flows through the discount rate, plus applies a risk factor to account for uncertainties.
