First things first. With the potential for Drought issues to escalate Spring - Summer the Government should engage the Army and setup several bases over the effected areas to give a sense of stability in uncertainty. Here they can help out with relief efforts.
Family support is also given in many areas including by the Aussie Helpers etc, and Salvation Army who I remain grateful when Cyclone Tracy changed lives. Support the people and you will get support.
