So thats the reason why borders were selling 30dollar books vs 10-15bucks on amazon... and they never really discounted any books...
*** At least with JBH they have the purchasing contacts and power to buy at good prices ....and with a higher AUD even better...so that their CDs DVDs have always been the lowest prices and most highly discounted
With their ability to discount across the board, and them being the cheapest in-store retailer, they can sustain the growth of the online market
Like I said - if i can buy at 15 bucks at JBH vs 10 bucks online id still buy from JBH....thered have to be a much greater price discrepency for ppl to go online ala what hppnd with the book industry.
