i am using a laptop, and it seems that somewhere along the line, sombody has pressed a key, which activates a secondary lot of numbers on the keyboard. eg, when i type the U I O, i get a 4 5 6 instead etc. what do i have to do, to get the keyboard back to normal

oh - i can plug in another keyboard - and then it is not a problem - but then it is not really a laptop
there is obviously a second function button somewhere
