Those figures don't take into account volume in unchanged issues. But unchanged issues today were about the same number as yesterday, so we can probably assume that unchanged volume today was about the same as yesterday.

So - yes - I think we can assume that today's volume for the XJO was about the same as yesterday's.

According to the figures provided today, volume was as low as we see it at the end of the year when traders are off enjoying themselves. Nah - can't be right.

Trading Room volume in their historical data has today's volume at zero while the usual summary shows 223,401,830 - so I think the missing data in the history is confirming that there's a problem with the data.
