With manufacturing, it could be anything, including a breakdown in machinery at the plant or as you suggest an inability to supply in the quantities ordered.

Has the delivery of raw materials been adevrsely affected due to State border closures, or, more likely, delays in container shipping at Botany Bay and to some extent Melbourne from the CFMMEU's now 'in abeyance' outrageous six per cent per annum wage claim?

For smaller required items such as machinery parts that may be imported and air freighted, there are far fewer international passenger flights arriving in Oz and freighter flights are understandably full. If there's no spare parts in Australia, did this cause a delay?

KTD does not have nationwide distribution yet into supermarkets but with WOW having c.1000 outlets and IIRC COL not far behind, if a product was ranged in every WOW supermarket and averaged just one item sold per day, that's 7000 a week.

PTL (cleaning products) had a huge run due to 'the virus' on various products such as White King bleach from March 2020. It had initial difficulty sourcing the distinctive red caps that are manufactured in Italy. It resolved and very large (for it) record sales were achieved.
