A reasonable quesation was put, following the previous post, on rising "Kwyword" costs ......

< IAC/InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ: IACI) seems to be all over this space and Search (AskJeeves & CitySearch). I wonder how many advertisers and traffic Looksmart has to offer for such a company to be of value? >

LOOK currently claims over 30,000 Listings and through their new Verticals, should soon get stronger "traffic" to make it more than a company of value. Listings (in turn) will further improve, as a result of increased traffic.

David Hills advised in a recent CC, that ... "there are many ways, to slice the pie" .....

I personally feel, (with Publishers/Media Co's/Advertisors on side), that the "keyword" concept (& obvious success of it) will be 'swallowed up' by an already proven successful Contextual type advertising, offering the "keyword" (concept) type insertions, (but in reverse - they will now control it), according to popular (groundswell) content, content that is already being accessed (& "saved"), by 'users'.

And I also feel, that these Advertisors, Media Co's and Publishers (will) are going to support it strongly, in a short time to come. There is a 'change' happening already. (And the 'dogs' are barking, of it).

The many (some behind the scenes) "Network" moves already being made by this 'old' world print medium, will definately ensure of it's ongoing, future success. Cheaper ADS costs is not only their 'objective', but are certainly in their long term interests.

Looksmart's FindArticles (now, with over 10 Million articles) will continue to 'grow' it's much sought after content, 'treasured' articles that will be 'contextualised' by publishers (& their advertisors), ready to then capitalise on, with 'shared' revenues for Looksmart.

These publishers will then (in turn) see lots of 'value' in telling the 'world' of the merits, not only of Verticals, but in particular those of Looksmart, (& there will be more, no doubt) where their 'own' content & ADS are perpetually, on offer.

It will happen, I do honestly feel sure.

LOK shares, (@ $0.90cps) will not get any cheaper, let me assure you!!
