In an AFL first, fans at Simonds Stadium games in 2017 will have extra incentive to put opposition players off in the final quarter of games at the venue.
Launching this week against the Bulldogs will be the KFC “Kickin’ for Chickin’” promotion.
During the last quarter of 2017 Cats home games, if the opposition team misses a set shot for goal from inside 50m out on the full, fans will win the opportunity to redeem a free Zinger Burger from one of seven KFC stores in the Geelong region.
The “Kickin’ for Chickin’” promotion will mean that calls of “chewy on your boot” will be even more important if fans want to secure their free Zinger Burger.
To redeem their burger, fans will need to present either a 2017 Geelong Cats access membership or their daily ticket from the relevant game.
The seven participating stores are Westfield Geelong, Grovedale, Corio, Colac, Belmont, Newcomb and North Geelong. Each store will be limited to 500 free Zinger Burgers per game. Full terms and conditions are available here.
