I agree with you that CNP needs to reduce Debt, however as GR has mentioned before, they have received plenty of phone calls in regards to properties that they could sell within a week.
Why would the banks force a firesale? when if they waited they would receive there initial investment plus more?
CNP have proved that they have a healthy income stream, It makes more sense for the banks to work with CNP instead of against them.
The "deadlines" (as some people are calling them) are in place by the banks to ensure that GR is proceeding forward with his refinancing plan.
