Will be interesting to see what "normal" is now.
Sp is in the pre-consolidated 11.8c which is in the upper range for recent trading, although we hit 13c and had some volume around 12.5c. Equally we spent significant time below 11c, so 11.8c seems reasonable.
Obviously we used to swing by +/- (0.5c) regularly. That was the smallest price movement. Now it would need to move 5c comparitively speaking. On big days it can happen but on average we should see less volatility.
Volumes have been off but more likely due to the temporary code KGLA rather than the new higher sp. The new higher sp is meant to attract new investors but I have my doubts.
How many people (including HC posters) do we know that were trading the 5-10% moves? This king of short term trader may desert us imo.
Chuk, melua, myself, and I'm sure countless others have employed this tactic with a trading parcel to great effect. Scalping a cent here and there. Could be a thing of the past.
