Nathan I often did grab small quantities of KGL on the match when it meant I could buy 5% lower than otherwise and I traded other times as well, but I turn over much larger dollar values of SLR which is a plus $3 stock, and to a lessor extent PRU and LYC etc.
So I trade many more dollars in more liquid stocks and the price makes no difference to me-only the liquidity and fundamentals matter.

Some traders may prefer 10c stocks but surely most traders trade the larger cap more liquid stocks. Most of the big traders would never have touched KGL at 10c because it was too illiquid for them. I know one trader who trades in parcels of $200,000-$500,000 at a time.
Needless to say he usually trades only very large market cap stocks with those sized trades. He tells me KGL is too small to be of interest to him.
We may loose one type of trader, but we eventually will pick up the traders and investors that will give us much higher volumes than we ever had. It will build gradually towards that as the market cap increases.
