Table has been updated. The updated comparison table includes Capital Intensity per tonne of contained copper.

Taseko – Florence (USA) has exceptionally low capital intensity (US$222/t contained Cu). This is due to its use of in-situ recovery (ISR), a low-cost extraction method that avoids traditional mining and processing infrastructure, significantly reducing both upfront capital and environmental footprint.

Importantly, KGL’s current figures are based solely on existing reserves and resources, with no inclusion of inferred material or exploration upside. Given the scale of prospective ground along strike and at depth, it’s reasonable to expect that further drilling will increase the total copper inventory. This, in turn, would improve the Capital Efficiency of the project as more tonnes are brought into the mine plan without needing proportional increases in capital spend.
