yeah well that's where diversification is necessary and going by current values the only compensation for my ANZ shares and some others looking far worse for wear than KGN, is the thought that the dividends over the many years held except the past one would equate to far more than the value of the capital shrinkage at the moment - but it would take many years of dividends to equate to the capital gain on KGN and the like lately.
