I am in 6 nasdaq stocks and must confess that I am very happy so far.... in fact sold 75% of my asx stocks over the past 3 months to average upward on nasdaq and looking to offload KGN at 19.
The problem with the volatility on asx is that stocks are relatively "cheap" (and I dont mean P/E or price/book or any other financial metric) but cheap in terms of $/share so that every kid in high school can buy and sell at will. You can see that by looking at stocks that drop 5-8% on a very low volume for no reason whatsoever.
plus of course, the institutional investors here seem to manipulate the stock more than their counterparts do on nasdaq or Dow.
ps.
QRVO reports tomorrow on nasdaq, may soar another 10% though, a lot has been priced in already. (they always beat the consensus)
