They wont have to pay 3.4c... It is just a maximum bid. They will still get them for what they open at this morning. It is just a way of making sure you get them! Nothing worse then putting an order in, price goes up, you have a limit that is half a cent or what ever lower then the current price, so you have to adjust your order, and in the mean time the sp goes up even more.
Also might just be someone trying to get others to put in a higher bid, and will pull the order just before open.
