Absolutely Hawkeye, along with the many others. From what I can make out, one of the key issues is what is going to deliver the fastest track through human trials.
To this end, they keep referring to COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, refer to newsletter) which is another name for heart attacks, one of the biggest killers and one in which midkine has already shown success in minimising damage to the heart muscle.
Their path to commercialisation seems to include joint research so that they can maximise the number of research projects and optimise product development on limited budgets and it seems to be working so far.
I am looking forward to the update on the conference in Turkey.
