COPD IS NOT another name for heart attacks!! MI (myocardial infarction) is the other name for heart attacks.
COPD is a chronic lung condition which constricts the small brochioles (breathing tubes in lungs) and affects the ability of the body to take in oxygen through the lungs and spread throughout the body in the blood.
Nitric oxide can help in opening the vessels to improve oxygenation but COPD and heart disease are two completely different things
