    "I love kids - that's why I'm not having any" (TISM). This has been my philosophy that has enabled me to taste the joys of kids of family and friends without the boredom and pain. I can hand them back! Good luck to you all that have your own but this aspect of the article is to the point for me:

    The fact that parenthood crowded out all other things in life could explain why we considered children our greatest source of joy, he said.

    "Parents tell me all the time that: `My child is my greatest source of joy'," he said.

    "My reply is that: `Yes, when you have one source of joy, it's bound to be your greatest'."

    .....I don't know exactly what I've missed by not having kids but neither do those parents know what they've missed.
