Scott, If Hamas surrendered and released the hostages what do you think would happen to the Hamas leaders?
Do you have a reason to expect they would be summarily executed? I doubt it.
You will recall that when the Jews eventually recovered Eichmann he was tried in a court.
The Israelis cannot let Hamas continue its declared war to achieve "river to the sea". Hamas should surrender and stop using Palestinians as shields and photo opportunities.
