I’m getting at a 4 hour period of peak Load demand as opposed to short bursts when a tranny trips. Isn’t the big money in morning and evening shoulder hours not seconds when the solar stops and while the coal and gas ramp up if even available?
batteries here and there might save a few quick short bursts of demand but hydro just sitting there slowly winding over could step up in sub minutes or seconds to massive loads with massive inertia for massive long hours couldn’t they?
Isn’t that where the big money is at?
