Dont forget that when selling your rights you dilute the value of your original holdings siginificantly.The big picture is that youre not really making money by selling them.
Reality is that rights issues only benefit the company and the smart money waiting eagerly for the mums and dads to sell their rights at ridiculously low prices believing they are making money from thin air.
