The attacks took place after 3pm on Saturday (local time) inside the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping centre.

Five women and one man were stabbed to death inside the busy shopping centre.

Joel Cauchi, 40, arrived in Sydney from Queensland in March and police believe he had no ideological motivation for the attacks.
