Stop politicising this by blaming the Federal opposition. This is a State issue and we all know that State Governments have emptied out their psychiatric hospitals meaning they have to manage these people in the community. Seems Victoria NSW and Qld can't manage them. I don't know how many facilities NSW closed but in Victoria major institutions in Ararat and Mont Park have closed to be replaced with less resources and a few temporary beds at Box Hill and St Vincent's in Fitzroy. At St Vs there is only 4 acute beds in a secure area and they are temporary.
