Bullshit.

He was doing his job- speaking truth to power.

If the US president is unstable, inept, thin-skinned or whatever, it is the job of the Ambassador to inform his superiors in Britain of this. Diplomatic cables are extremely sensitive and should never, ever be disclosed.

I can guarantee you that right now, there are a hundred or more ambassadors in Washington DC with exactly the same opinion of Trump. Kim Darroch is only telling the British high-ups what all of us already know. Instead of your cowardly attacking of a man who had the integrity to leave his job to protect the institutions of his office, perhaps you should be asking who leaked the cable and why?
