    Argyle project sale settlement delayed
    January 8, 2009

Resource Mining Corporation Ltd's 75 per cent-owned subsidiary Argyle Iron Ore Pty Ltd says settlement of the sale of its self-named iron ore project in Western Australia may be delayed.

The company announced on December 23 that private firm Kimberley Metals Group Pty Ltd would buy the project for $3.9 million.

Resource Mining said on Thursday that Iron Ore Resources Pty Ltd, which owns the remaining 25 per cent stake in Argyle Iron Ore, and the holder of a royalty over the project, Royalty Administration Company Pty Ltd, had advised that they would apply to the courts for an interim injunction in relation to the sale.

"Argyle expects that the application will be filed later today and heard next week," Resources Mining Corporation said.

Kimberley, which has Australian and Chinese stakeholders, paid a $100,000 deposit to Argyle Iron Ore in December, which is being held on trust until settlement.

Resources Mining Corporation plans to use the funds from the sale on its Wowo Gap nickel project in Papua New Guinea.

The mineral explorer's shares were untraded on Thursday, last trading at 0.9 cent.
