Not having the technical, corporate, business or personal skills to control a certain situation can lead to some people becoming paranoid about those that can. As a manager you must have the confidence and relationships with those that DO to trust them to get the job done. A Chairman (or any senior executives) should not be interfering with the day to day running of the company. Actively contributing to the departure of two directors to me says it all.
