watso has previously posted about this. there is plenty of stuff on the net about cheap macro photography - just get a lens from a dvd player, and place over a camera. maybe not all lenses are suitable, as watso kerbside collected , from discarded computers, about 1 dozen dvd players, and only found 2 or three lenses that seemed to do the job. another suggestion is to buy an old camera (pre digital) from good sammy's - and rip out the lens - the local good sammy's has just got heaps of them - and good, but obsolete cameras are selling for $3
anyway - watso has included two pics - using a cheap digital camera, with about 12 megapixels - with a dvd lens blue tacked into the lens of the digital camera
