if it weren't for our legacy self-respect and a half decent (only half-decent) service economy we would have become such.
the autocrats are in Opposition now so not much chance of any further sovereignty loss for the time being.
so now Aus needs to regain lost self-respect, international respect and repair our lost sovereignty. We should break free of the Commonwealth (we can still play at the C'wealth and Invictus Games ) and develop our industries and manufacturing base and become the great industrial nation that Menzies envisaged.
there hasn't been a single Liberal leader since Menzies who has actively supported our industrial and manufacturing bases.
