The person they hit usually is intoxicated not always though.
The surgeon maybe a little confused as to the cause and effect here.
The king hitting is like a party game. It's not some uncontrolled event that takes place. People usually set out at the start of the night to do it.
Why? Who knows what's going on in some peoples heads.
