As a Queenslander, i know that the people in Kingaroy are very conservative and if the Labor Govt gives Cougar the green light, then the Farmers @ Kingaroy may react badly.

I just can't see Cougar being able to convince these people of anything---they are very very conservative

I understand that the power station at Kingaroy has not been built yet. Surely no one will finance it now. Even if they got the gas going again, one small mistake could totally wipe out the value of the Powerhouse

Can the plant be moved somewhere else away from these people ?
