It seems that community consultation work has been done very well. I like the statement of "Golder Associates has also carried out additional testing and has sufficient data to conclude, with confidence, that the site selected for the purpose of the UCG pilot trial has, when operating under an appropriate UCG process management regime, a low likelihood of causing impact to the deep groundwater system and a very low likelihood of causing impact to the shallow groundwater system through resource depletion or contamination during its initiation, operation and shutdown". Some people (like a teacher who made a lot of noise previously) will stop to make noise for enviromental issues for now imo.
