Hi Bunya, nice to know we have someone nearby. I am about 900klms away so not much use lol,did however make some calls last weekend and discovered the oasis motel in town has the cat contract for accom. With regard to the site i don't know how far things are away from the gate but i do know that hydrogen burning from a stack won't be visible during daylight hours - just a heat haze- however at night it should be impressive.
