Mr Potter would need to carry the rest of The Board with him. They have held meetings on the subject and have agreed by at least a majority verdict to the present course of action.

Why capitulate if the business is sound?

My own view on selling the business piecemeal would not work. Eventually they would end up owning a load of rubbish with the best bits gone to pastures new. I know we will probably differ on this also

The only item I would take you to task on in your posting and you might not agree with me but I will proceed. Over the past month numerous remarks have been made on this BB to the effect that you cannot trust a word Mr Potter has said now you quote him verbatim. Until we know more I would not take that road. I do not know what to make of Mr Potter's actions in this affair. Is he Black or is he White? As far as I am concerned the jury is out on that one. I also wish to read the upcoming report on HDR
