    hThese bots typically aim to trigger stop-losses or prompt buying interest, only to suddenly purchase or dump a large line. The purpose is to create false buying or selling pressure to test where the true market equilibrium lies, fake out any hidden orders and gauge the tape’s reaction.

    They basically want to test real market depth and any hidden liquidity before making a move.
