I am very much in favour of threads as you should be able to choose which sort of information and discussion you like to follow, particularly when it relates to a significant asx announcement, and or if you are a potential new investor doing some research.
Personally I think charts and technical analysis is self fulfilling Mumbo Jumbo, but of course some people believe in that stuff, so people who are interested in charts should have a thread/forum where they can discuss with like minded people.
