Life and events are all about probabilities and sometimes horse races.

Piedmont own 60 acres of land at kings mountain which is permitted for 22.7 tonnes of (acid roast method) hydroxide. This comes under the Title V Air Permit of North Carolina state.

This may give the opportunity for PLL to accelerate their metso outotec permit on the Kings mountain site (if selected). Coupled with the fact that the Black Caviar of the lithium world just put down $40 million to buy a drive-in movie and campsite next to their existing kings mountains mine and Albemarle have recently started to hail Kings Mountain as a phase of growth in their business, their customers have stated they want and need localised supply.

Albemarle must be quite comfortable with the Cleveland county to be expressing these growth plans and putting down such large amounts of money one would think.

This could be viewed as Kings Mountain site being a short priced favourite which has shortened in odds due to recent developments and commentary of Albermarle.

Leaving Buffalo NY a rank outside chance in this race (pun intended)
